Golf courses in Krabi
There is one golf course in Krabi, Pakasai Country Club, located around 40km south of Krabi Town in Neua Klong district. It is owned by the local electricity board and is rated quite highly by local golfers, who enjoy the challenge of its tricky fairways and fast undulating greens, in slightly hilly terrain. The course has recently been expanded to 18 holes.
There are several companies who can arrange for you to play. They will usually sell a 'golf package', which includes transport to and from the course; equipment hire; green fees; and refreshments, for a fairly reasonable price. You can also visit independently. Serious golfers may however be better off holidaying in Phuket, which offers a far greater choice for enthusiasts, including some championship courses.
