    Ao Nang is the central resort area of Krabi and its most popular. Here you’ll find everything from plush, expensive beachfront resorts to modest budget guesthouse set back from the waterfront. Only a few hotels have a genuine beachfront location but the rest are near enough. It can get busy along the main road and although it’s convenient to have all the facilities here, hotels tucked away are going to be more peaceful. Everything is within convenient walking distance and Ao Nang certainly isn’t as manic as parts of Phuket.
